Greenwich Design was briefed to build a nursery website for The Lodge that would communicate the nursery’s ethos to new and potential parents. The Lodge is a privately run preschool and nursery located in a beautiful home-from-home setting on the outskirts of London. They approached Greenwich Design to build a website that would communicate the nursery’s ethos to new and potential parents. The site needed to show off the nursery’s warm and welcoming environment. However it was important that the website maintained a level of sophistication and, unlike many nursery brands, did not feel too childlike.
What we did
The challenge was to create a nursery website that housed all the pertinent information about The Lodge at launch but could be updated and expanded as The Lodge grew. We created an infrastructure that allowed the nursery’s latest Policies and Procedures to be displayed clearly. It was important that staff could update the information regularly and that it was in a format that was easily digestible for parents.
What happened
The Lodge were delighted with the look and feel of their website. We have since added a blog to the site to complement their social media activity. This additional feature allows The Lodge to show off its excellence as an Early Years Education provider, with photographs of its ‘Little Lodgers’ taking part in educational activities, enjoying the well-planned out indoor spaces and exploring the beautiful gardens of this comfortable family home.
